The Senate have come up with a compromise on immigration.
Some compromise. As NRO puts it; "If this is a compromise, what would an abject surrender look like?"
You may have just lost most of your strength in one really stupid move, Republicans.
Frist just lost any chance at all to win the nomination for president. I like, Hugh Hewitt can't believe this is a good plan. Sorry guys, you just lost me on this one.

I’ll have to look into this bill in greater detail. But my first impression is that it’s business as usual.
It doesn’t recognize the reality that we have a foreign invader in our midst. Sure, they’re not likely to take up guns or ram planes into buildings. But a huge percentage of them are never going to assimilate into American society.
We have just legitimated yet another underclass. And we may not see the consequences until it is too late.

Agreed. It will be a permanent underclass. Why are the Republican Senators playing along with this one?
