  I’m just guessing, but could that be a picture of Benedict Arnold? I believe it is. You know, Arnold not only betrayed the American cause, he actually defended his treachery as an example of his love for America.

  In a letter to George Washington, he said, “…love to my country actuates my present conduct, however it may appear inconsistent to the world, who very seldom judge right of any man’s actions.”

  I think we got his number all right
