Not to continue flogging a dead horse, but because I did rather a lot of posting on this when it happened, so I'm kind of obligated to post follow ups.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has obtained a copy of the formal police report that was filed after the incident. It seems Representative Cynthia McKinney used a closed fist to strike the officer that was trying to stop her. This directly contradicts a lot of the rumors that were floating around at the time of what exactly happened.
