Post Mortem
On the Michael Hiltzik affair from Independent Sources. He points out that the LA Times management didn't quite understand what the real issue was, something many others have noted (including Blue Crab Boulevard). However, he fails to note the contribution we made to the Hiltzik case with our cutting-edge, Pulitzer material photography.

Mario – I let this through even though it’s an attempted threadjack. I did so just to let you know that this is extremely bad manners. Don’t do it again, please.

Gauis,
I am Not trying to Disrupt Your Website. Being Personally involved in The OJ Simpson Case, this is the way I Legally get my Message out, and Legally More.
I respect You and your Website.

Mario – The problem you’re having is that you’re trying to go completely off topic AND you’re coming to this blog complaining about another blog’s actions. Both are pretty rude. Do you see that? Maybe you should consider starting your own blog.
I hope you do enjoy what I’m doing here.
By Hurricane Shirley, May 1, 2006 @ 9:54 am
Yes, the topic is the photo! I loved your puppet photo! I put it on my blog after I was accused of doing a sock puppet routine myself in a writers forum.
By Gauis Arbo, May 1, 2006 @ 10:21 am
Thanks, I’m glad you liked it, Shirley.

Hi Gauis,
I have been Reading your Posts about Patterico, Or Los Angeles Assistant District Attorney Patrick Frey, or whatever his name is, and I read you “DON’T have a Very Favorable Impression of him, AND I Agree with you. I DO LIKE THE “DUCK.”
Gauis, What exacty is your work here on your Website?????

Mario, I have NO idea where you get that impression. I like Patterico very much.
What is my work? I guess I don’t understand the question.
By Mario G. Nitrini 111, May 2, 2006 @ 1:26 pm
Gauis,
What about the Duck (Patterico)?????
What do you think of Patterico (AKA) Patrick Frey, “BANNING” me from His Website for telling the Truth About Los Angeles Times Writer Chuck Philips????
What do you Know about a Bill Hodgeman/Patrick Frey/Steve Cooley Connection????
You said to me in a post above:
“I hope you do enjoy what I’m doing here.” Well, What are you doing here on your website?????

If you bothered to follow the link, that was a reference to Hiltzik’s calling Patterico’s commenters “quacking lunatics”. It’s a slam on Hiltzik, not Patterico – if you notice it’s up on the sidebar, and I call MYSELF a proud Patterico commenter.
It’s called a blog, Mario. If you like it, fine, read it. If you don’t like it, fine, don’t read it.

OK Blog.
How about answering these questions I had asked you?????
What do you think of Patterico (AKA) Patrick Frey, “BANNING†me from His Website for telling the Truth About Los Angeles Times Writer Chuck Philips????
What do you Know about a Bill Hodgeman/Patrick Frey/Steve Cooley Connection????
Did you skip over these on Purpose?????????????

One, you’re getting close to getting banned here for getting on my nerves. I am under no obligation to answer your questions and you have no right to assume I have such an obligation. I do not necessarily even reply to any comment. See comment policy for clarification should you need it.
Two, you have no right to threadjack to go off on a topic you want to.
If you want your own blog, go get one. You can even get one going for free.
There are a lot of blogs that don’t do comments at all.
By Mario G. Nitrini 111, May 2, 2006 @ 5:06 pm
Gauis,
I didn’t say you were obligated to answer my Questions. I have NO Problem with that at all. A Person sometimes can tell MORE when another Person DOESN’T answer a Question than if that person DID answer a Question.
I do have a Knack of getting on people’s Nerves, But that’s because I SPEAK THE TRUTH, and Most people “CAN’T” handle the Truth.
If you want to Ban me, Ban Me. Did I say I want my own Blog???? NO
If you can, could you please Explain how I Threadjacked???? I’m Lost with that Statement of yours.
Gauis, I have no Ill-feeling toward’s you. Just because Patterico is your Buddy and Not mine, doesn’t mean we can’t have a Legal Friendly Debate, Does it?????

Hi Gaius,
I see our favorite off-topic commentator has wended his way to your blog as well. He’s been spreading his fascinating orthography over at the Château du Seipp.

On Cathy’s website, on a post on 05.05.06 – at 5:27 pm :

you appear to be Sacastic towards me, then, a little while later
on 05.05.06 – 5:47 pm, you give me Link (OJ Link)
You comment here about me, May 5th, 2006 at 6:30 pm, on Gauis’ website in a very Un-favorable way, and then,
about a half an hour after you posted here, you seem “so sincere”???? in wanting to help me in The OJ Simpson Case on Cathy’s website on 05.05.06 – at 7:03 pm

Mario, either calm down or go somewhere else. You are an unusual person, leave it at that.
It’s Gaius, by the way.

Mr. Arbo,
Your name is spelled different on your heading,
Gauis Arbo Says:
than what you just wrote
“It’s Gaius, by the way.”?????????????
I am calm, I just like to Clarify………
I felt that there was some Sacarsm directed towards me, but for me, it’s OK.

Well, that was embarrassing. Thanks for pointing that out, Mario. My typo will live on in all my previous posts, I guess.
Not sarcasm, irony.
By Mario G. Nitrini 111, May 6, 2006 @ 9:59 pm
No Problem Gauis.
You Know, Everyone makes mistakes.
I am laughing right now, not at you, but with you.
Irony??? don’t worry about Dude, like I said, everyone makes mistakes. You wouldn’t believe how many Predictions/Decisions (Mistakes) I made in The OJ Simpson Case, that were wrong.
One item I will always wonder to myself about, is when I had the Tabloid TV show “Inside Edition” all ready to Investigate Rocky Bateman with me, and, if I wouldn’t have Canceled on them, would the Verdict have been Guilty in The Criminal Trial, or a Mis-trial.
That Early on though, I really wasn’t sure of what I had. And Actually, I still haven’t put it ALL Together yet, but MOST of it I have, The Bottom Line I have, just missing some details.
