The Old Enemy

For more than a decade now the media has told us all about the fall of communism. When the Soviet Union collapsed, the doctrine was supposedly moribund. Oh there were still a few holdouts like China, North Korea and Cuba, but we have been told over and over about the fall of communism.

Only it seems to be coming back. Russia is reverting and aligning itself more closely with China. Cuba's influence is being felt in Venezuela and is now spreading it's malignancy into Bolivia. While our left wing daily comes closer and closer to acting just like another generation of useful idiots did in the 60's. Russia and China forge alliances with Iran and other countries that hate America and appear to be trying to instigate proxy wars, just like in the bad old days.

Our media pays virtually no attention whatsoever to all of this, instead focusing on spreading leaked national security information. Stories like the Bolivian seizure of the gas and oil assets from private investors gets only minor coverage. I have not seen any MSM coverage of the Russia/China/Iran trade deals or the Iran/Pakistan gas pipeline deal.

There's an old evil stirring.
