Wrong Track
If there was ever a good indicator of how wrong Bush's stance on immigration is, this is it. Jimmy Carter approves of it. That right there should be enough to take away an awful lot of support.
Anyone who has been reading this blog for any length of time knows my opinion of Carter.

So, do you still claim a vote for Hayden was an implicit endorsement of the program? The committee chairman explicitly says says it was not.

I still think it was. I think they would have voted him down if there had been serious problems. Don’t you? Denials for political effect are easy to make. Regardless, the issue still rests with the courts.
