[...] The article, again, directly contradicts the AP hit piece from yesterday that attempts to smear American troops with the accusation that Zarqawi was found alive and beaten to death. Iraqi police were first on the scene. Period. When Fisher received orders for an urgent mission at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday, his troops were already involved in two other engagements: a firefight at an Iraqi army checkpoint nearby, and another incident south of Zarqawi's hideout where a Humvee had hit a roadside bomb, he said. Fisher moved troops and AH-64 Apache helicopters toward the area, and they set up a cordon along the canal; two tanks also blocked off Highway 2, which runs north-south to the east of the house.
Remember when reporting meant facts?

BTW, on CBS site it has yet another title.

Not only did they change the title and story at the same URL, they listed cowriters below... as if folks are stupid and it didn't help the quality of the story. All of a sudden, we get the guys name and it's not the same he had a beard like Zarqawi, they found him by the irrigation canal on the ground yet they pulled him from the house, the US troops used a standard issue Arab robe to wrap his head and beat him even though Iraqis were there first (as the article itself states several times). Please. I guess Patrick (the sixteen year old from Florida who flew to Iraq just to see (?) and happened to walk through the war zone to my desk) Quinn needed some help.

[...] The scumbags at the Associated Press have proven once again that they are nothing more than America hating shills for Radical Islamic Fundamentalism. Gaius at Blue Crab Boulevard has a better explanation of what the lying fucktards wrote about our troops during the elimination of Zarqawi. Me, I have a more visceral and satisfying way of dealing with Journalists scumbags like the AP courtesy of Emperor Misha.
Man, does this crap piss me off. Like the Emperor Misha says: Rope, tree, journalist...some assembly required.

And then some other Journaltard will comment about the increase in violence. Gee, ya think?
