This is why the term ‘politician’ has such a bad connotation that has nothing to do with party affiliation. Both parties have their share of turds like these. Both parties sullied the reputation of politicians in general. Both parties need to clean up their act. And the voters need to hold BOTH parties accountable on an INDIVIDUAL basis. ‘Dirty pool’ isn’t partisan. It’s an individual character flaw.

Interesting theory. I still don’t think they will get traction with it, though. They may damage a few individuals (perhaps rightly, perhaps not) but I don’t see it working nationally.

It’s a sure loser for some Dems, but maybe more so for one Dem than two others.

Don’t fall for the misdirection play. This “culture of corruption” meme is only the establishment Democrat Party’s trick to get Hillary Clinton out of the race for the nomination in 2008.

Could there be any other motivation for raising an issue which so exposes the Democrat Party to such obviously accurate ridicule?

Here, the interests of AlGore, and John Kerry coincide. Both want to eliminate Hillary early, and what better way than to raise the “corruption” issue which, they hope, is sure to provoke the GOP into knocking Hillary hollow, and out of the race.

And, all the while the old boys keep their skirts clean so the Dem faithful won’t catch on and blame them. Cute, very cute.

If you believe that the Culture of Corruption meme is a loser for DEMS…why would you not encourage them to do it….

If and when the “liberal media” decides to lay out the ENTIRE case against the legions of corrupt Republicans (Cunningham, DeLay, Savafian, Abramoff, and soon to be Jerry Lewis) we will see what Americans really think come Nov. 2006
