Getting The Word Out

On June 3rd, Officer Kristina Ripatti of the LAPD was shot and badly wounded by a robbery suspect. She will recover, but will be paralyzed from the chest down. She is married to another LAPD police officer and has a 15-month old daughter. Patterico has asked that people consider sending a donation to help the family out. He's taking donations and also has the address of the special fund that has been set up at the Los Angeles Police Federal Credit Union.
