Yeah, it does. I guess it is also the difference that Lieberman's own party is trying to force him out, with help from out-of-state, while Murtha is (hopefully!) being forced out by the other part, with help from out-of-state.

I don't know, George Soros (and others like him) have left a bad taste in my mouth, since they try to specifically affect elections not in their areas. (Boy, did that make sense?) But, Gaius, I definitely see your point, and, like I said, I have supported the RNC Congressional Victory fund (or whatever it is called...) I guess it makes sense to try and make a specific point against Murtha.

For me at least, Murtha is doing things that are at least borderline criminal and supporting a candidate who opposes him in the general election is not a bad thing.

On the other hand, trying to force out a reliable party guy because you disagree with one of that person's policies in a primary election is dumb. But I don't care if they give money, either.

Does that make sense?

I know I may be off-base here, but isn't this the exact same thing we (including myself) were criticizing about Kos and his Klan getting involved in with Lamont and Lieberman? I am not from Pennsylvania, so I don't know if I feel right about shifting funds directly to Irey...

Can somebody provide me the moral justification? I give to the RNC, and to the Congressional Victory-type funds, but funding a specific race in another state just seems... Wrong.

Not trying to be argumentative, just trying to understand another point of view...
