I think there is a lot of coverage, and I think Ennis’ comment indicates he sees it, too. Frankly, a lot of the really big blogs actually cover more domestic issues than international events.

I’ve read a lot of blogs about the Mumbai bombing.
Mainly indian and pakistani blogs, some european blogs,etc. but hey, there is a world out there, the blogosphere is not made up solely of american blogs.

Check the Metroblogging Mumbai, and the links from there. There are quite a lot.

Yeah, but I can also see their point. There is a lot of stuff breaking right now and news events aren’t necessarily fodder for political commentary. Unless it can be blamed on Bush somehow!

I’ll keep trying to remind people that there is more going on in the world than Valerie Plame.

And I’m glad you did. I do point out that many bloggers outside of the top 100 have been blogging the story, enough to put it into Technorati’s top 10 list. I was just surprised at the lack of coverage amongst the very large political blogs.
