Nathan's response didn't seemed biased to me. And he clearly got the facts of this latest conflict straight.

Your biases are showing, Nathan. Always hated Israel or just a recent acquisition?

The Israeli offensive was not in response to the rockets being fired, it was in response to the kidnapping of their soldiers. The Hizbollah rockets were in response to the Israeli offensive. Don't rewrite history to suit your argument. Sure, Israel has a right to defend itself, and, likewise, the Lebanese people have a right to defend themselves from the bombs falling from overhead. Hizbollah may have started this particular engagement, but Israel lost the moral high ground when it began destroying Lebanon's infrastructure without any care to the cost of civilian life.

[...] Please read a soldier’s thoughts on Israel over at Blue Crab Boulevard. It’s always nice to see what our men in uniform think about Iraq, but Gaius’ son tells us what he thinks about the Israeli situation as of now. [...]

My eternal gratitude for your service in defending the light on the shinning hill; both your actions and words bring pride to this American heart.

As to the events between Isreal and Lebanon, imagine if the KKK had a militia armed with 10,000 bombs and they began bombing Mexico out of hatred for Catholic people. Would not American citizens demand that the American government disarm and dismantle the KKK?

What the international community fails to understand is that not only are the people of Isreal held hostage by a radical group who believes in a destructive ideology but so are the sane people of Lebanon.

[...] Gauis’ son, who is an Army soldier in Iraq, offers wisdom and clarity on the Israeli / Hizbullah conflict: […] Israel is a sovereign country. The Israelis have EVERY RIGHT to defend their own borders against foreign attackers. For decades they have endured the cowardly attacks of terrorists. They have turned the other cheek time and time again against these attacks. They have offered the olive branch many times and been spurned by radical Muslims. To accuse them of any wrongdoing because they have finally retaliated against these acts of aggression is pure lunacy. (entire post at Blue Crab Boulevard) [...]
