I can’t parse your second paragraph. Is the implication that you are unbiased? You had a previous post where you sounded like a 9/11 conspiracy theorist- “Item: On Sept 11, Dick Cheney was running war games simulating a hijacking. Item: Our off-course detection systems worked flawlessly over 60 times in the year before 9/11. Item: blah blah” Really, it sounded desperate, and anything but biased. Do you hold those who comment here to a higher standard then you hold yourself to?

The site was included in an IAF plan to strike at several buildings in proximity to a previous launching site. Similar strikes were carried out in the past. However, there were no rocket launches from Qana on the day of the strike.

When and if the condemnation of Hezbollah is exactly the same – when they are held to the same standard, then you may have a basis for disagreement. To do less shows a bias.

This turns out to be false information or disinformation…kind of like when the US said we didn’t use WP as a tactical weapon, then we admitted we did.

The important thing is that the Arab world sees the weapons and support the United States is giving to Israel, which will increase the hatred of the US by Arabs. You have to wonder how giving weapons and support to Israel make the United States a safer place.

Certainly Hezbollah is scum of the earth, but my question to you all: How did Hezbollah rise to power? Military coup? No… Wait, democracy you say? They were *voted* into power?!? I’m confused, I thought democracy was the be-all-end-all that we’re trying implement in Iraq. Would an elected Hezbollah leadership be better for the United States then a secular tyrant? The Israeli air force brig. gen’l who thought the building collapsed at 7am was probably reacting to the fact that there was that other IDF sortie at that time.

The story from the Lebanese on the ground was that the building went at 1am. The ashen bodies and rigor mortis confirm that.

This makes me wonder what if the collapse was due to a gas explosion? If the nearby strike ruptured a gas line and those people suffocated, they would appear to be sleeping or if there was a gas explosion that caused CO to settle in the basement, that would also cause casualties to appear to be sleeping.
