McKinney Loses – Big

This one was not even close. Cynthia McKinney had her clock cleaned in a big way by challenger Hank Johnson in Georgia. Although the poll results are not final as of this writing, the lead is insurmounable.

In suburban Atlanta, Rep. Cynthia McKinney trailed former DeKalb County commissioner Hank Johnson by 61 percent to 39 percent, with 35 percent of the votes counted in their Democratic runoff election in the 4th District. Voters went to the polls with memories of McKinney's scuffle with a Capitol Police officer still fresh; many showed signs of tiring of the controversy that has long followed McKinney, who was trying not to lose her second Democratic primary in the past three elections.

Photoshoppers everywhere are crying. I know I am.

Heck, why doesn’t Joe just run as a republican? Oh yeh, the democrats would then win the senate seat for sure!

And, can you believe that crazy Rep. Cynthia McKinney (GA) – thinking the president had foreknowledge? Any good Christian will tell you the safest place for the president the morning of 911 was right there with those innocent people at Booker elementary – that’s why he made his scheduled appearance at 9:30am – he knew the terrorists were just too stupid to figure he would stay where he was scheduled to be! Even the secret service figured that one out – not making the president take evasive action until taking to the air in Air Force One.

Thank God for that evasive action while he called Dick to find out what else he was supposed to do, cause the air force had demonstrated remarkably little skill that morning, permitting four hijacked planes to go wither/hither.

Since Cynthia McKinny is out of a job now, wouldn’t it be a great time to help her find a new gig? I wonder if there are any openings at NOW, or at the ACLU, or at the NAACP, or Rainbow/Push, or the UN, or perhaps on Hillary’s campaign staff. Why opportunities abound.
