As long as his thugs continue to "resist" by attacking the Israeli soldiers it gives Israel an opportunity to defend themselves by killing more Hezbollah members. Considering how slowly an international force is likely to assemble and the fact that the inept Lebanese Army is ill equipped to move its decrepit equipment south over the shattered roads/bridges - this could mean some more precious time to decimate Hezbollah. The IDF is very tough and very dedicated. I wish they had received better leadership from the political leaders, but I've know doubt the IDF will do its best despite the tentative stop & go orders.
