Final Hudna?
This is a highly disturbing comment by the Lebanese ambassador to the UN.
"Lebanon will be, I think, the last state to sign a peace treaty with Israel," UN ambassador Nouhad Mahmoud told CNN television's "Late Edition" program, without explaining the remark.
He called the agreement a "crucial" test for all the parties involved.
I do not think this bodes well at all.

Aarrrgh! Just left a truly brilliant (sic), insightful (sic) comment and accidentaly deleted it. Anyway, it looks as if Lebanon, who stands on the precipice overlooking complete destruction, doesn’t have a whole lot of room to be making statements like that. Had the Israeli army been turned loose and allowed to complete the mission they’ve been trained for, Lebanon, as well as Hezbollah (because they have a parasitic relationship with Lebanon), would be in a world of hurt today as well. As it stands, Hezbollah lost over 25% of it’s personnel and an untold quantity of arms and munitions.
I still am not clear whether UN troops will have permission to protect themselves. If not, it’ll be just a larger, more unwieldy UNIFIL. Huh!..just another successful UN operation.
