On Civilian Casualties

Confederate Yankee has an email from an Israeli sergeant. It gives a slightly different perspective than what the wire services are giving out. He also has a bit more on the reasons for the coverage being as skewed as it has been here.

You might really want to take a look at these posts before you simply buy in to the MSM storylines on – well – just about anything to do with war. Especially if Israel is involved. Or the US.

One Response to On Civilian Casualties

  1. Roland Hesz says:

Yes, lebanese reports exaggerate the number of civilian casualties.
On the other hand, israeli reports try to diminish it.

I think the real number is well below the one reported by Lebanon and well over reported by Israel.

But then, I bet we won’t know the truth, ever.
It will just happen a day that after a big loud boom, the whole area will go deadly-silent.

I don’t want to be upwind when Israel fires his nukes, while Hezbollah blows up Tel-Aviv and Jerusalem.
