Since Hollywood can make money selling crap as easily as they can sell quailty (foreign markets is where the millions are made) the only thing left in the decison-making process is 'does the movie fit Hollywood's worldview'? Weinstein knows he's going to make mucho moola selling anti-American crap to foreign markets while denying any opportunity for freedom of expression in America. The Dixie Chicks are simply useful idiot tools to greater financial rewards. For Weinstein to lecture on 'freedom of speech, censorship and other important issues' reflects the useful idiocy that defines Hollywood today. The reason why I will not go see a movie like "world trade center' is due to the fact that Hollywood producers were counting on the appeal to the American market as a means to garner enough profit to produce 20 anti-American films. Hollywood is a nasty business and the only way it will change is complete bankrupcy.
