[...] UPDATE 4 — More reax: Wizbang, Moderate Voice, Blue Crab Boulevard. UPDATE 5 — The Lamont team channels Bob McEwen. This is the core of the Lamont campaign’s reaction (from the Times follow-up; bold is mine): His [Lamont’s] campaign manager, Tom Swan, did not address the content of the e-mail message, but said: “It is clear that Senator Lieberman would prefer to try to cloud Ned’s statements from eight years ago, instead of talking about the important issues of national security, the war in Iraq, and health care. It is shocking to see his Senate staff, at taxpayer expense, is spending their time trying to make up dirt on Ned Lamont.” [...]

You know Bill/Jim/Whatever you are almost becoming a cartoon of yourself at the moment. If the Rovian hordes funneled millions to Lieberman, where exactly are the records of the donations? That would take a lot of maxed out donors wouldn't it? I posted about this, by the way. Pointed out the obvious, too.

And a Senator who is *gasp* can actually search his own files! My God, man, do you know what this means! Not everyone in the world is clueless!

Not everyone is quite this gullible. Sorry you are.

Outstanding! Those 70 million dollars in GOP raised funds (presumably given by donors who thought they were helping the GOP) is enabling Lieberman to dig up everything he can on Lamont. That plus those "swiftboating" commericals for Lieberman must be making Karl Rove smile confidently. Whatever it takes to maintain the Iraq occupation! That all Lieberman is useful for anyway.
