What about the rest of the passages? Yes, that one passage could be “contextualized”, but for the other passages, the context was obvious, and they were crude at best, disgusting at worst. And taken together, they all show a pattern of attitudes and, dare I say it, stereotypes, that give more view into the heart of the man than any of his current political speeches.

Of course, the fact that the passage has nothing to do with incest and pedophilia but deals with tribal rituals and how out of place the American characters felt when seeing it, means nothing?

The hell with truth and context, there are elections to be won!

Just finished reading the Drudge Report. Webb is just creepy. I realize it’s fiction but there’s just something really disgusting about a writer that can write about sex with children. Just demented, sick and perverted.

I think it’s over for Webb but he is a democrat so he will probably keep marching on while saying “It’s only fiction you prudes…”
