They pretend the two events occurred in a vacuum, that the withdrawal wasn't a precondition for the ensuing bloodbath. The slaughter went on for years, yet MSM and Dems couldn't be bothered to take effective notice let alone initiate steps to stop the genocide because it was fellow socialists and communists doing the killing. Given an opportunity in Iraq, they'll do it again if they can.
