second, if it is true, that would be &lt;i&gt;good&lt;/i&gt; news.  if iran successfully takes over the al qaeda leadership it would mean al qaeda would no longer be a wahabbi group that rejects the west and calls any non-wahabbi an infidel. iran gave up exporting its brand of political islam in the late 1980s and early 1990s.  if it could get al qaeda to follow its leader that would be good, not bad.</description>
