  Oh, come on. Bush put the Saddam-sought-uranium-from-Africa in the State of the Union. Lord, how I wish that bunch’s incompetence was just spelling.

  That said, antiwar demonstrations had nothing to do with the election and Cindy Sheehan was more of a hindrance than a help. Either her son was an adult with the power and right to make decisions and be responsible for them or she should have done a lot more to stop him from going into the army. How many jobs are there where you train with rifles and hand grenades and machine guns? If you don’t want your kid in mortal danger, you do everything you can to stop him/her from going into the army.

  Shouldn’t they be in Okinawa protesting? That’s the only base proposed for 140,000 troops that I’m aware of.
