That BBC piece was bizarre. To them, Iran is a peaceful regime whose overtures to the US have been rebuffed with unreasoning hostility. No mention is made of the fact that the sole reason we don’t have diplomatic relations with Iran today is BECAUSE THEY ATTACKED OUR EMBASSY, IMPRISONED OUR DIPLOMATS AND CONTINUE TO OCCUPY THE EMBASSY TO THIS DAY. I guess that detail was overlooked by the BBC.

I can only imagine how hard it is for a young person, raised on nothing but the MSM pablum, to understand how much better the world would be had Carter possessed a spine and a brain. The Shah would have passed the throne of a very prosperous Persia to his son a few years back, and the Muslim world would mostly be quiet. It makes me sad every time I see that peanut eatinâ€™ fool yammering on about matters of which he has no capacity to understand.
