It seems that Junkscience.com named the &quot;sightings&quot; of Ivory Billed Woodpeckers one of its top ten junk science stories of 2006. I first got clued to this by a link from the Ivory Bill Skeptic. Then I have been hit repeatedly with searches today about this from other sources. There are more people posting about this like&#160;The Birdchaser&#160;and Stix Blog. Since the &quot;sightings&quot; began occurring when some environmentalists wanted to block a Corps of Engineers irrigation project, the Cornell Lab is risking its credibility. If it turns out they have been engaging in wishful thinking &quot;science&quot; they hurt themselves. But heck, carry on. I need the Photoshop experience. Er, I mean significant scientific discoveries. Yeah, that&#039;s the ticket. [...]</description>
