[...] I posted about the petition here. I posted about an Opinion Journal article that really hits home here. The New York Sun has an article that indicates that the insurgents may be nearing exhaustion. Is it correct? I have no idea. But the General we are sending to do the job is confident the mission can be accomplished. Who the hell is someone like Chucky Hagel to cut him off at the knees before sending him to do the job.
I've signed and I'm encouraging everyone I know of like mind to do the same. Thank your son for his service to our country. Most of us really do appreciate our men in uniform and don't just give it lip service.

Help Shut Down The Warner Resolution on Irag...

This doesn’t sound too encouraging. Any resolution that doesn’t give Congressional support for the new commander, in lieu of an alternative plan, will simply act to undermine the mission.

I signed the pledge yesterday however the added extra of actively supporting the candidates challenger is even better and I am in. I donated a lot of money around the country last election for conservative candidates and will be happy to do so this time and I will never donate through the RNC or the NRSC because they take your dollars and give them to anyone with a R in front of their name whether they are a conservative or just pretend to be ie:Chafee.

"I'll go one better on the pledge. I WILL actively work against any Republican up for reelection who votes for a resolution - like Chucky "Dead to me" Hagel did."

Sounds good. I'm in -- signed the petition this afternoon.

I'm in. Hagel was a French shower on this one. I especially appreciated his attempted slam to the people who have faith in the greatest fighting force the bleeding Universe has ever seen. As I read it Hagel is saying that it takes more courage to vote for a purely symbolic, cynical and completely non-binding resolution than it does to fight in a volunteer Armed Force. By any of his own logical and semantic definitions of cowardice he is a coward, a craven a milquetoast, yaller to the core, summer soldier and French. I miss Jeane Kirkpatrick. She would have turned this self-contradicting Congress over her knee and given them the humiliating paddling that they deserve. Perhaps if she "sold shoes" she would be able to paddle them with hob-nailed boots.
