The End?

Well, it wasn't hard to predict this: Melissa McEwan has also resigned from her position in the John Edwards campaign. She announced it with considerably more grace and class that Amanda Marcotte did. She was, of course, by far the less vitriolic of the two to begin with. But I really hate to see anyone, left or right, lose their jobs because of their blogging. This is a self-inflicted wound for Edwards, however. McEwan would have been a minor embarrassment at best, Marcotte, not even remotely acceptable for a politician trying for the presidency.
