Dammit! Don't you read the news? There is NO Al Qaeda in Iraq. This is just another plot by BUSHITLERMCCHIMPYCHENEYRUMSFELD to invade the peace loving people of Iran.

Whatever happened to fighting to the death? It certainly does not appear to be for leaders these days, just for the ignorant klutzes they boss around.

"If you kill enough of them, they stop fighting". General Curtis LeMay.

I'll be damned if he wasn't right--If the enemy wants to survive, let him surrender. Fat chance of that policy being implemented, though, because our PC policies are far better at allowing the future killing fields to be prepared than defeating the enemy. Defeat, remember, allows the vanquished to re-build in a potentially stable environment where the possibility of liberty can be nurtured. To allow continued festering of the enemy is to damn thousands of his countrymen to lives of brutality and fear, and likely to murder as well.

[...] And the surge now is a success. Just as it was predicted it would be in its early going. Another al Qaeda number two in Iraq bites the dust as so many number twos previously have. And al Qaeda number one was wounded. But there is no body. Not yet. Number One al Masri has been reported dead several times. It’s tough enough determining you have the right body matched to the person when there is a death involved. If these guys haven’t captured al Masri, how can anybody be sure he was wounded? It’s potentially huge news? Great! ! ! ! (It’s potentially BS.) Niiiiiice!!!!!! Sorry, Ace, al Masri who was in custody must have slipped a way. Oh, no. It’s all part of a plot. Al Masri? He’s on the run. Crosslink the disinformations, dudes, until the truth deforms and dissolves into a puddle of rumors. Even what’s hyped suffers from lowered expectations. More BS to follow. [...]

The Counterterrorism Blog notes that we should wait until the US confirms this news given the spate of bum news from the Interior Ministry. I concur, though if it is confirmed it would be tremendous news to see the Iraqis being the ones taking down M.....
