And it is a humdinger. So it's a one-two punch: the guy who earned the undying hatred of the left by pointing out that Ned Lamont was a very poor choice of candidates and the man who proved it by beating Lamont in the general election. But if tomorrow Sunnis, Shiites and Kurds were to achieve the "political solution" we all hope for, the threat of al-Qaeda in Iraq would not vanish.
