[...] Jonah Goldberg, writing in the Los Angeles Times, takes a look at the bizarre polling results Rasmussen reported a few days ago that indicate that a majority of Democrats believe George W. Bush had something to do with 9/11 - either advance knowledge or the outright conspiracy theories of the truthers. MOST FAIR-MINDED readers will no doubt take me at my word when I say that a majority of Democrats in this country are out of their gourds. [...]

What is the percentage of liberals that don't understand that BushCo _never said_ that Saddam was linked to 9-11?

There's some very factually inaccurate memes concerning this war perpetuated by both sides. I think some of this is due to the fact that the Florida Fiasco and the biggest growth spurt in internet use happened about the same time. The internet has caused the rancor of those who simply refused to believe that Gore lost to fester into a very nasty sickness.

I wonder what's going to happen when Fred Thompson beats Barak Obama in '08?

The poll's just a tiny bit sloppy. They don't really nail down what these folks believe. Certainly the media, which have not pushed 9-11 nuttery much, argued that the Bush Administration should have known about 9-11 given the August 6, 2001 PDB. Yes, I know what it said, but remember the way the media portrayed it.

I don't buy any of the numbers quoted; I'd say cut them in half and you've probably got a good handle on the number of 9-11 Deniers.

You Have Got To Be Kidding Me!...

Almost the same amount of Democrats believe that Bush knew about the 9/11 attacks beforehand (35%) as those who don't believe it (39%) according to the new Rasmussen poll. Yup, it's obvious Bush, Cheney, & Gang knew about the attacks......
