Shot Across The Bow

Patrick Ruffini, posting over at Hugh Hewitt's blog, says that Fred Thompson's website has raised $220,000 in 18 hours and has averaged more than 1,500 people per hour signing up as friends. He calls it a shot across the bow. Damn big cannon.
