Like the kind Scott Thomas Beauchamp sold The New Republic. It reads like a Leftist X-Files story, complete with disappearing officers. Much more likely is that this is someone making himself look like a big shot to his fellow Kossacks by taking advantage of the Times story to breathlessly say something they all want to believe, anyway.
