The city seized the real estate and evicted the owners because Allen wanted it. Nobody with any influence so much as mentioned any ethical problem. Seattle is run by a coalition of the far Left and the super-rich. This is not likely to change. One area completed a project and printed up about $10,000 [in 1955 dollars] worth of application forms.
