The eco-Nazis really are afraid the sky is falling, and it does not matter whether it is or not; they are AFRAID it is. It does not matter if they believe in manmade global warming or if they are trying to “smash capitalism” - either position counts as “the sky is falling”. They have to, they MUST, do something, anything, to prevent the sky from falling If they do not DO something, they will be left with their fear, and anything is better than that, even destroying the planet. They also want to dictate what is done, and when it is done (soon, very soon). Results do not matter. At one of the recent “rock concerts to save the planet, or Africa, or whatever”, someone said, “We have to do something; even if it does not work”. Yes, I think they are deranged. That means we cannot reason with them - they do not care about logic, science or evidence. Ridicule might work against them; but they can be violent, so care must be taken.
