Imagine if aggressive crocks were taking out of the mating pool for a period of time, say a year or two.  This means that the more docile crocks would have more mating opportunities than would the aggressive ones.  So over time, one might get a population of more docile crocks by simply keeping those who can&#039;t behave locked up away from the females so they can not pass their behavior along to the next generation.  Conjugal visits would mess the entire process up, though.</description>
