I just saw that when I went to the DeSmogblog. . But one of the things I really like about the blogosphere are those bloggers that check facts.

There's a lot of people that know a lot about different things that now create a kind of super brain through the internet. The greatest version of a "lifeline". I thought that the name rang a bell and traced him down. It was what I thought it was. I still don't know if it was a prank to make those that think that Global Warming is simply Al Gore's Next Job look bad or whether it was an attempt at viral marketing for his new book.

Regardless, I know some scientists who really have looked at what we could do if ET invaded, who also happen to be SF writers, and this would be a great viral marketing tool for them. Only, of course, they have _real_ credentials.

Yeah, the complaints are that I exposed it too soon before it could catch others.
