Unfortunately, the Chinese people might get the idea that it is OK to criticize your leaders. They need to learn that free speech has its limits just as the people of Pakistan are learning now. The instance I heard about was in New Zealand. So maybe they were just trying to defuse the unpleasant actions of others. Not that I agree with what they did . . .
