Update: UN lowballs emissions. The Telegraph reports double the carbon emissions as the UN tries to. Part of the difference may be that the UN appears to only be reporting official delegates, not the huge media presence and assorted completely useless people like Leonardo DiCaprio.

They need to get their gpbal warming policies enacted quickly so that when the earth cools down in the next 10-15 yrs they can take credit for it. In the Dec 5 edition of the UK Independent, there is a story titled “Ray of Hope: Can the sun save us from Global Warming?” The gist of the article suggests that the earth will cool down soon due to an absence of sunspots. True, these articles have been around for yrs, but I was surprised to see it in the Independent and it is a good read.
