Just In Time For Christmas

Donald Sensing tells of walking away virtually unhurt from an automobile accident that by all rights should have killed him.

I saw that piece and did a slow burn over it. The man was driving 70 mph on a rain soaked highway. A car starts hydroplaning long before that it hits 70. A reponsible driver slows down when road conditions decline from the ideal. He was lucky he didn’t kill someone who was driving responsibly. The moral of the story is to SLOW DOWN on wet roads.

When Newton’s Laws of Physics take over, it’s good to have God as your Co-pilot.

(Which reminds me of a Brother Dave Gardner bit about a drunk and a preacher. The preacher comes up behind the drunk driver, decides to and passes him–and goes off the road into the ditch. Drunk comes up, asks “How are you?” Preacher replies “OK, The Lord was riding with me.” Drunk responds “You better let Him ride with me. You like to killed Him!”)
