how much damage has already been done at this point?

Blackprof is a great example of the intellectual underpinnings of identity politics. They look for every example of racism and never post contraindications. That's poor science, but marvelous demagoguery. How much damage has been done? Well, the people at blackprof don't need you at all to do any damage. All you have to do is exist and hint that you might oppose any of their ideas. They do the damage for you and then blame you as soon as you provide a catalyst for the blame. The only way to prevent this is to go all Mitt Romney on them and utter nothing but platitudes and cliches. The instant you get into specifics that disagree with them, you're dead.

The Clintons should have avoided this like the plague. A lot of damage has been done, at least for the primaries. Just look at what happened in Michigan.

The disturbing thing I'm noting here and in the other primaries and caucuses is that a large number of black voters are voting for Obama. This is not a problem if they truly believe he is the best candidate because of his stands on the issues. However, numbers this large tend to indicate that at least a significant portion are voting for him for the sole reason that he is black. If that is the case, it is as bad as voting AGAINST him because he is black. It is voting on the basis of race. Whether it is for or against a candidate it is wrong. And it is just as wrong as those people who are supporting Hillary simply because she is a woman and for no other reason.

Perhaps, if Mrx. Clinton were to apply some ...makeup like John Kerry did during his campaign, that might work. And' she should remembah to use the 'bama accent.

KT Cat: I visited blackprof.com. I did not see anything there that would cause Gaius to change his post. Perhaps you could be more specific for the benefit feeble minded here at the Crabitat?
