Conflict Of Interest
Ouch. A very sharp observation from Bruce Webster about what might be a real problem - even more than he already has - for Eliot "The Whorable" Spitzer. What if he was trying to kill off competition for his favored hookers while he was Attorney General?

The implications just keep getting deeper and deeper. Anyone want to place any bets on whether he ever actually gets prosecuted for anything?

If you ever watched a season of F/X’s "The Shield" THIS is basically what Detective. Macky and Co. do … And then rationalize it as controlling the inevitable drug traffic on the streets, while setting up a comfy retirement for themselves.

No-o-o-o-o-o
NOT okay … I’m just comparing it with something I have seen depicted in a TV show as to how "people in power" rationalize when they do something wrong and equitable to what the "bad guys" they are supposedly fighting are doing …
Corruption IS corruption … The entertainment industry and the MSM seem to have, over the years, successfully tried to blur the lines between right and wrong with such muddy grey areas and rationalizations …
Now, watch the same be done for Spitzer, after the fall-out has had time to level-off.
