A. Uberti single-action Cattleman Hombre in .45 caliber Long Colt.
This is a replica of the 1873 Colt Single-Action Army, more commonly known as the Peacemaker.
Nice. I love antique guns. I’ve always been fond of the Navy Colt, and I’d love to own a wheellock pistol.
Obviously, this one is a lot shorter than my other replica:
But it is really nicely balanced – and it takes cartridges instead of being a cap and ball pistol, like the 1858 is. The original-type post and notch sights may be interesting to get used to, though. I’ll try it out later today.
the cap and ball will get ya in ta trouble but it cant get cha out!
