Storms On Storms
This is either the storm that knocked out power to the Crabitat two nights ago or part of the same system:
And this is the sudden storm that popped up last night. It didn't knock out power, but it delivered yet another gully washer and ruined any chance of taking a swim.
Sigh. This weather pattern is getting very old.

I can imagine you’re well sick of this. That first photo is beautiful, however.
BTW, I’ve suddenly become unable to enter comments via Firefox. The text box won’t become active when clicked on or tabbed to, and I just realized the formatting bar doesn’t appear. (This is in Firefox 2.0.0.14) It’s working fine via IE7.
Fingers crossed that things dry out for you soon!

I got a whole series of shots of that first storm. Many of them show those weird cloud formations boiling in the sky.
They aren’e calling for rain today. But then, they really weren’t calling for it yesterday, either!

Yesterday morning our weather forecast said no more rain for several days. Last night two storms dumped a cumulative total of almost an inch, but I am not complaining. We are finally getting adequate rainfall in my corner of the world. As long as it doesn’t hail…………

We got a summer shower here in California. Very odd for this time of year. If this heat wave moves East as it is expected to, you guys have a real scorcher headed your way in a few days.

Crosspatch, what area are you in? I’m in LA and it’s dry and hot here.
