I'm not sure about the spelling, but you're right, old_dawg, they are the Doctor's longest standing nemesis - the ones that are the reason he's the only Time Lord still in existence.

I'm sorry but a dozen years in government including years as mayor of a, admittedly, small town (bet she learned how to budget real good from that) and two solid years at the helm of, rather than a small state, the largest state in the Union (at least landwise), while bucking the corrupt politicians who were running her party and her state government for years makes her enormously more qualified than the Obamessiah. As McCain pointed out on Fox News Sunday this morning, in all of her time in government she never once voted "present" to avoid having to take a stand on an issue (like Obama did 133 times in the Ill. Senate). She has always taken a stand on every issue and her continued support from the voters shows that it was the right stand each time. This is a woman with judgement and courage. The McCain-Palin ticket has my vote!

McCain is all over this article. His campaign headquarters released a rejoiner which shows that all of the so call "scholars" are partisan Democrats, not just Dallek.McCain is not afraid to mix it up with the media.

Damn...Dallek's not even a full time academic (notice the "ajunct"). Hell, they could have just asked me...granted I've not written a neo-leftist treatise.

Hmmm...I wonder why Politico just didn't ask Noam Chomsky....he musta been busy.

Politico was suppose to be different journalism yet it's the same old junk journalism, nothing has Changed.

Further both 'Presidential scholars' Goldstein and Dallek donated to Obama's campaign.

It is no wonder the majority of American really have no idea that their perception of things are contorted and manipulated for a reason; they live inside a bubble and they haven't a clue.

My wife nailed it awhile ago:

"Look what "experience" has gotten us."

But all seriousness aside--is she really the least experienced? At what? Graft? Cheating? Killing babies? And why is that bad?

The Palin pick is the ultimate game changer. These presidential "experts" don't know jack.

Palin faced harsh criticism of inexperience previously, when she ran for governor in 2006. She not only emerged victorious, but she crushed two veterans of Alaskan politics in the process: in the primary she beat incumbent Governor Frank Murkowski, who had been a member of the U.S. Senate for 22 years, and she defeated former Democratic Governor Tony Knowles in the general election, who had served previously in the Alaska statehouse for eight years.

Today, Palin is the most popular governor in the United States.
