In 72 hrs I've learned more about the Palin family than I have about either McCain's or Obama's family and the only thing I know about Biden's family is the son who is a Lobbyist involved in financial no-no's.

Have you seen the Obamessiah's statement comparing his record with Palin's? He completely ignores her time as governor and makes a comment about the town of Wasilla having 50 employees and a budget of about 10 million while his experience running his campaign with 2500 employees and a budget in the hundreds of millions qualifies him be president. Running a campaign qualifies you to be Commander in Chief of the combined Armed Forces of the United States? It qualifies you to be in charge of a budget in the trillions of dollars? Besides, isn't the CAMPAIGN MANAGER in charge of running the campaign, supervising the budget and the employees so the candidate is free to campaign? I have to ask, is Obama still on those drugs he says he took when he was younger?

Sarah Palin has headed a city government. It may be a small city but it's still executive experience. She was head of not just one but two state commissions. As governor of Alaska she was the executive of the largest state in the Union with a budget in excess of 10 billion dollars. She is Commander in Chief of the Alaska National Guard. She has a state sandwiched between Russia and Canada and has to conduct foriegn relations with both of those countries. In short, she has more executive experience than anyone else running in this campaign, including and especially the Obamessiah who has never been in charge of ANYTHING in his entire life!

Newt Gingerich annoyed me (my fingers want to type "irretrievably") when he pissed away the opportunity as speaker.

The interview I watched on an MSNBC clip a while ago may have bought him forgiveness.

And speaking of possible redemption, riddle me this:

How come I saw that on MSNBC? How come the only video I could find of Thompson's speech is an MSNBC clip?

Too bad there isn't some version of the "Fairness" doctrine that would force the "MSM" to carry the convention speeches.

We are in the midst of a generational transfer of political power. The real race this fall is between Obama and Palin. McCain and Biden are secondary if not irrelevant. Obama and Palin are at opposite poles of the political spectrum, and whoever wins will set the course of this country for a very long time.
