Although "Rosary Joe" is at least a cafeteria style, minimalist Catholic, I am scandalized that he doesn't pop a few more checks into the collection basket. If he shows up on Sunday, why not cough up a little more for the poor and unfortunate? Oh, I forgot...Joe is hanging out on Meet the Press instead, keeping his $$$ to himself and telling us all what he doesn't know about what his Church teaches.

The social malignancy of the average leftist is a topic that needs a great deal more air time. The simple fact is that if the general public had an accurate picture of the leftist, the Democratic party would dwindle to near-insignificance. The only thing keeping the left alive in America is control of the means of projection -- news, entertainment, and education.

We need a long-term strategy of targeting and taking down liberal control of these crucial points of the culture.

Biden is a very weak choice & Sarah got into Obama's melon with that remark about his regretting not having asked HRC onto the ticket. He is very thin-skinned [as his repeated mentions of Hannity reveal] and if she bugs him enuf, he may start to implode by attacking her some more instead of using nasty surrogates [which itself is beginning to boost McCain/Palin's polls].

If John-boy keeps young Sarah at his side in Sept & early Oct, she will get those big crowds that make the old dude look young & keeps him feeling like a spring chicken. He deserves it for taking crap on not using e-mail when his arms prevent him from using a keyboard---torture does cause horrible arthritic aftermaths.

Not that a callow fruitcake like Obama [who skipped his own mother's deathbed because of "scheduling conflicts"] deserves any special treatment. He throws people under the bus with alarming regularity & it would be poetic justice to see him end up under bus tires himself for his insensitive e-mail attacks.

He's doing a damn fine job of that, according to Gallup. The generic lead is down to three points.

But a new low, Rich? Hell, they haven't even begun to excavate. This is the Axelrod "Attack At All Costs" doctrine in action. If it continues at the pace it is going, the Democrats will be as powerful as the Whigs.

We can but hope.

Mocking McCain because of his war time injuries is a new low in American politics.

Obama had already lost this election months ago, but now he's working on bringing the rest of the Demcorats down with him.

I was a Guiliani guy and think a lot of him. I loved his speech at the convention. I supported McCain because I thought he was an honorable guy who was better (by alot) than Obama. My estimation of him has grown by leaps and bounds (even though I do disagree with some of his ideas, like McCain-Feingold) during this campaign season. McCain has demonstrated a real talent for campaigning and making deft decisions. A very cool customer. I am extremely pleased with his choice of Sara Palin for VP. When I read about what McCain goes through to just function in an ordinary way because of his injuries, I am even more impressed with him. I haven't been moved by a speech in a long time, but McCain's convention speech moved me. As much as I enjoyed Rudy's and Palin's speeches (Fred Thompson's, too), McCain's greater and more profound than all of them. JPG

Since the morning after Obama got the nomination it seems like everything's gone sour for Dems. Next day McCain introduced Sarah Palin. Then Bam! All the hopes and dreams Dems had invested in THE ONE went belly up in the short space of her acceptance speech.

I've never seen anything like it, (with the possible exception of Howlin' Howie's primal scream) for Obama and Biden to go from ridin' high to stumble bums almost overnight. I don't know, could it be devine intervention?

Perhaps the second coming of a hurricane straight at NOLA.... Naw, I don't think so. But there has to be some way to explain such a rapid fall from grace.
