Spreading The Hate
The media and the left (redundant) have busily spent the day personally destroying “Joe the Plumber”. Unions have bashed and lashed him, his unpaid tax lien has been aired out and they are busy doing just about everything else they can to discredit him.
Aren’t you glad you didn’t ask the Messiah a question?
Why the brutal assault on a minor figure? Simple: Obama made a mistake. He told the truth.
No. Really. You’re kidding me. Barack Obama actually told that Joe the Plumber guy that he wants to “spread the wealth around.” What, did Obama just get done reading the Wikipedia entry on Huey “Share the Wealth” Long or something? Was he somehow channeling that left-wing populist from the Depression? Talk about playing into the most extreme stereotype of your party, that it is infested with socialists.
Nothing more than the redistribution of “wealth” – as defined by the Obama administration. Wealth will become even more relative than it is now. Obama is starting at $250,000 – how long until your own personal earnings classify as “wealth”?
My guess is, not very long at all.
UPDATE: Just as it doesn’t take long for Obama himself to mock and ridicule someone who dares ask him a question. (Link from commenter John.) So he talks nicely to Joe the plumber then slams him behind his back.

Brilliant idea having the media go after Joe the Plumber ordinary citizen who simply asked a politician a question; how well will this go over for those Americans who detest invasion of their privacy by those working for the 24/7 newscycle?
The media cannot stop its decent into madness; they just can’t help themselves can they.
