In any case, it was a very well written peice. Although he didn't mention that the real foundation of the crisis was actually laid down in 1977 during the Carter (another Democrat? Is that a patern?) administration. Slick Willie based his push for more sub-prime lending on that Act passed by the Peanut Farmer. You forgot to mention that Card is also a widely know Sci Fi author.
