The silver lining in all this is that, if he does manage to create a “team of rivals” they may be so busy stabbing each other in the back and undermining him that they gridlock his agenda and the American People come out the winners. Well, I can hope can’t I?

Obama is utterly ignorant of American history. Pinkster’s comments will go right over his arrogantly tilted head (if he somehow reads those comments).

As for Lincoln’s War Cabinet, that is the most galling part. There was a serious shooting war going on, and all that backbiting and corruption cost soldiers their lives. I do not want a repeat of that bit of history. But with the Chicago Jesus comes Chicago Cronyism and Corruption, with which Barrack is quite familiar. (Having the Arkansas Mafia come along for the ride is not too inspiring, either.) Obama has a real shot at making Grant’s Administration look good.
