This story should be way more viral than it is. Lefties won't touch stuff like this, of course. Guys like that are released back out to the street once the prisons get too overcrowded because there's not enough money for schools... blah, blah.

Nice posting.

In 1980, Prentice Rasheed, owner of a Miami consignment shop which specialized in the creations of people living in that neighborhood, had been burglarized seven or eight times. He could not afford this sort of thing and neither could the artists and designers in that economically-flat area, so he rigged a booby trap. It electrocuted a bad guy. The grand jury solemnly pretended to believe Rasheed's straight-faced claim that he didn't know anything about electrical wiring and refused to indict.
He even got a friendly item on "60 Minutes."

I think most people would agree, Gaius. I certainly do. I mean, this is as clear-cut a case of self-defense as I can imagine.

I think that you are right when you suggest shooting and killing him when he came to rape her a second time might help her cope better with the first rape. Successfully defending herself returned to her the control she lost when he raped her before, and also she could also experience it as punishment for that rape.

I know we disagree on most everything, but I'm with you on this one.
